As per tittle, I brought an L reg Fiesta RS 1800 from a mate of mine 3 weeks ago for £150 as it had failed it's MOT and he couldn't be bothered to fix it.

To get the car through the MOT I have had to put a new sill on the drivers side and patch some holes in the floor around the seat mountings. The rest of the bodywork is okay, some rust on the front wings and around the filler cap. The car has also had lots of new mechanical parts over the past few months including a clutch, lower arms, starter motor and Anti roll bar links. Thecar is a 1993 in black with original alloys which have also been sprayed black. It has covered 117K, has a Clifford alarm, Scorpion exhaust, K&N filter and tidy Recaro interior.

I was originally going to use the car as a run around but have decided to sell it, was going to start it on e-bay for £150 but just interested oin what people think it's worth?

 

well if its a original rs1800 its worth alot more than £150 more like £1500-£2000 if in good condition i will give ya £150 if ya want! lol

 

The log book shows the car as a Fiesta RS 1800 so I assume it is an original car. The body isn't perfect on it but it drives fine with no problems at all.

Have had a look on e-bay and these cars seem to be going for anything from £300 for a non runner and £1k for a good car. Hoping I can get about £500 to £600 for it.

you should aim for bout £800-£1000 thats what its worth

 

cant really say with out pics, sounds like bodyworks not great, seen them go for about 600-800 as you have described yours but its a difficult time of year to sell a car, id out it up for 800 ono and see how you do, but now everyone on here knows how much you paid for it

 

i went and looked at 1 not long back 4 a grand and it needed a lot of work doing to it so 4 150 pounds thats chep

 

Just seen this on e-bay. With MOT its gonna be at least worth £800

check with the RSOC fez registrar

 

theres 1 in teh for sale section that got down to 600 odd and still dint sell

rust poking out from behind the arches will make it worth loads less than a genuinly solid 1


1 with rust here and there you know theres no arches behind those mouldings


im lookin for 1 atm, they are all scrapyard fodder
