Went down to Reyland today in Birmingham, to see exactly what offset I can have the Compomotive MO 6-spokes in. Slight issue with it being VERY low, I couldn't fit the 18's on, so went for the 8x17. Which isn't a loss, as they have more of a deep dish look, like the original 18" 6 spokes. They look more original than the new 18's!
Would also like to say thanks to Martin Hadland, the guys a genious! Much respect! Even watching him do a small job like measuring wheels and doing calculations in his head was mad!
True pleasure to properly meet you!
So here's a few pics of the day...
Red neck!

The original Leg-end!

Cool seats in it too...

A zetec turbo, with what looked like an Ian Howell inlet..

RS 500, 550bhp EsCos and a Rover shell being prepped...

Stack gauges in the EsCos...

Another Rover with the tunnel already put in...

Track 3-door and its brakes...

Nice little Speedline wheel on mine to work out an appropriate offset...

And a pic of my new wheels...

Cochyn, why couldn't you fit the 18's on??? Your car wasn't THAT low last time I checked? be careful what tyres you fit to 8" wide wheels else you're going to have lots of arch/tyre contact! I run 18 x 8's throughout the show season even though they 'don't fit'.
Just out of curiosity though what offset did you go for in the end?

Already tried a few 18's, but altering a focus wing isn't a chore as they are simple bolt on, so can be easy to manipulate the mounting points a bit. Even easier considering where I work
Its just as well anyway, my car is setup to run 17's anyway, she responds better

Have changed a few Focus wings so appreciate what you are saying and, for what it's worth, I use 17's for track work as the handling difference between 17's and 18's on a Focus is astonishing - despite what some of the showcar fraternity on their 19's and 20's seem to think

As for the Rover shell, sorry guys, didn't really look at it very closely, just took a pic. My bad!
