Morning Guys,

Over the years of polishing the car ihave gained quiet a bit of polish on my window ruber seals. Ive tried everything to polish the white marks out including white spirit, auto gleam vinyl and rubber polish, back to black etc and when i next wash the car they come back and it mean i have to spend hours carefully detailing them back in.

Sure it a problem alot of people get so what do you guys use to remove it all for good?

i use peanut butter to get the marks out mate. SERIOUSLY i'm not kidding you it really works. try it

 

Vanilla Moose Glaze will get it out ( made by Clearkote )

or duragloss do a few products specific for it

 

Try an eraser, it really works! Just blow off the little strands.

 

As above, ive found it works well too.

 

the eraser idea is insane, i would seriously never have thought of that.

 

Yep, use a good quality eraser, then put your trim product over the top once it's clean. It can be good to wipe down with APC first too.

Black Wow is the first trim product that will actually remove the marks too - as it cleans and dresses, rather than just dressing.

Does it not just dry out though after being out in the sun for a while? Ive found that every one ive tried does.

The smooth finish seals can be rubbed off with anything, even your thumb, but its the grained ones that are a total pain in the harris.
