Fuel pressure will rise on a 1:1 ratio when referencing boost.

It says the pressure will rise... not that its rising rate.

1:1 is a normal reg that raises or lowers fuel pressure on a 1:1 ratio with plenum pressure.

I need something like a 1:1.2 ratio.. a rising rate.

Diva, he means that as boost increases, ie the differential between boost and fuel pressure as well, so it is more at a bar than it is at idle etc, ie it rises rather than is just maintained

Fair enough, although given that someone as clued up as the diva didnt even know what a rising rate reg was, I doubt many people on here will be intending to fit one as they all wont know what one is either, lol

There is no need for them usually but this is a special situation.

Its not actually for a car. Its for the bike shown at the bottom of the page in the thread below.

http://www.turbosport.co.uk/showthre...ighlight=z1000

The injectors will be too small and all i have to change the fuelling is a Powercomander 3 which gives basic control of an aplpha-n map and not alot more.

I can't replace the injectors for bigger or turn the fuel pressure up as it will bugger up alot of other parimiters like warm up and accel enrich that i cannot re map.

So the plan is to use the best comprimise which is a rising rate FPR that will only increase the flow of the injectors up top when on boost and therefore shouldn't effect the other parimeters so much.

All a bit bodgy and not the way i would do it, but my mate only has a small budget and therefore i have to find the solution to fit the cost!

Sorry mate, totally read your question wrong

Just automatically assumed you needed a rising rate with boost to keep the fuel pressure matched......

No probs mate. It's sometimes confusing as people often refer to a FPR that will compensate for positive pressure as rising rate when in fact it isn't.
