Im alway geting stuck with this text talk. I dont have a mobile phone i havent had one for about 3 4 years . The reason for this is all i youst to get was people always phoning me for a lift and i hate saying no. This is the first forum iv ever been on and haven,t had a pc for long ether so can some of you help me with some of then

I fucking HATE text talk! I don't mind the odd abbreviation or eve nthe odd mis-spell of a word : like "tho" instead of "though", I can be found guilty of doing shorthand "slang" of stuff like saying "that sorta thing"

But thats a reflection of the way we talk, so it's like phonetic typing more so than text talk....

I hate when you see a post thats like;

The only things I use, other than a few shortened words like "tho" is net abbreviations, the most popular of which you will see on here like;

LOL = Laugh Out Loud (use this for when someone says something funny)
PMSL = Piss My Self Laughing (see above)
ROFL = Roll On Floor Laughing (see above)
ROTFL = as above adding "The"
IDK = I Don't Know
AFAIK = As Far As I know
IIRC = If I Remember Correctly
WTF = What The Fuck

And this smiley --> actually means laughter - as in crying with laughter. Not to use when someone says something sad.
