The knuckles are different. If you change the hubs, your current TCAs will no longer fit. As such you need to either change the TCAs as well with 3dr items, or more sensibly buy the adjustable TCAs from Mike Rainbird at the same time

To add - makes the car turn in better on a track etc, but also makes the car a little more twitchy at speed.

Sounds good matey! Make sure you get a set of brand new bearings and strip and overhaul them before fitting (you know it makes sense!). Make sure you are buying the right thing also - Check the knuckles.

Adjustable TCAs are a little dearer, but well worth the money

If you also put on a 3 door front roll bar, on a 2wd sapph/hatch it gets much better also, as I did all the time.

It is all about how the TCAs fit to the hubs. On the 3door, they have a thread and nut. On the saphs, they have a different configuration. If you post a photo, I would prob be able to tell as long as you have a close up of the knuckle where the TCA fits.

I never realised about the 3 door AR Bar - Big difference then?

BIG difference, as it has less castor so is more twitchy, but grips better turns in better too, got to hold on though not very relaxing a bit like a mini/go kart for twitchiness!!
The other way is to use a spacer between the TCA bushes and the butt where it stops on the end of the roll bar thread.
I made some 10 + 15mm spacers like a "C" shape so you could just loosen roll bar/tca and insert then tighten up, so spacer goes between tca/bush and end inner stop/butt up of roll bar, so it pushes the wheel slightly further forward.

Interesting - I find that since I changed mine over and put on the Adjustable TCAs, mine is already pretty twitchy.

To be honest, I find the turn in so vastly improved, I am not sure if I would want any further twitchness.

I had intended to deal with the rear beam next, but your comments are most interesting.

Hi matey - they look right as far as I can tell from a photo.

Hate the colour choice mind! LOL

Definately do the bearings whilst they are out!
