can someone tell how different front n back set ups affect ur car.....how a hard/soft front end/back end effects ur car and how it drives......understeer, oversteer etc....cheers Pete
I just seen your disk today at Baz's and i'd be putting in a warranty claim for that disk matey.!!
Oh and it is normal for Gaz to rub the rear inner arches as they all do....escos and saff. Hammer fixes it!! LOL
Baz thought your car had been in a shunt, pmsl

Too stiff on the front, and it will understeer, too stiff on the rear and it will oversteer. Experiment with the settings so that it handles how YOU like
.
Set the ride height so that the rear is 10mm higher than the front. The ride height is set up by the front suspension TCAs, so make sure they are either parrallel with the ground or with the outer TCA joint being fractionally lower than the inner one. Set the rear height to this (+10mm).
Happy now?

there are lots of books on the subject to help undersatnd basics but these are no replacement for getting a pro to do it for you . I hope that doesn't sound too patronising
After asking around, and talking to a few people, (inc Mike and Tony)
i've played alot with suspension setting on both my cars on the track and road over the last 4+ years.
But a base setting can be done on your car, but then different driver's/cars prefere different handleing/setup's.
