What kind of gym? I think the general leasure centre gyms are full of twats, specially round my way, too busy trying to look good,

If its a weight lifters shot then fair play, altho i`d try out playing football and cycling, maybe add a bit of swimming in there too

All that with a decent diet should help you, dont expect dramatic results it takes time

If you train hard and eat correctly, you can drop a stone a month easy , and that will be fat, not muscle if you do a balanced work out, lots of people hammer cardio, and do no wieghts, and end up loosing all thier muscle first

If you are doing a workout well, your wieght won't drop much ( unless you specifically target wieght loss) as muscle wieghs more than fat, so as you burn fat and build muscle, your overall body wieght might not drop significatly, but you will go from pearshaped to V shaped and have a lot less % fat

Swimming should burn loads of fat (i should pick it up again too) And it builds muscle a bit everywhere, so you won't change shape much in the beginning.

Yeah I would do swimming but my gym doesn;t have a pool lol. It's fitness first, not a council gym. It's not as good as some gyms but is fairly cheap so I'm happy with it.

Just been tonight for the first time in months. Did some running, cross training, bike, and upper body weights. Will be hurting tomorrow

Go swim down at Kirkstall dude. Knock off Nige takes his kids down there and neither of them have caught typhoid from the water yet so it must be alright

One of the reasons I stopped going to a gym was cos of all the twats who hog the benches, dont warm up and press a stupid amount of KG with little form, and wonder why they aint getting decent gains lol and have no idea

Diet and exercise.

Thats all you need mate, and drink plenty of water, which will help flush your system out and bring your internals back up to max efficiency.
