Log Books Stolen from DVLA -- Caution Car Buyers
If you buy a car or have just bought a new car, check the serial number against this lot.....

NEARLY 23,000 blank vehicle logbooks have been stolen from the DVLA licensing agency - and hundreds are now feared to be in the hands of car thieves.
The V5 documents were nicked while on their way to be shredded.
Villains use them to give stolen cars a new identity. But buyers will not get compensation if cops trace the cars and confiscate them.
The stolen forms have the serial number pre-fix BG ranging from 9167501 to 9190500.
