serious, should i remove the bumper first

 

dont no ginge but it looks like its going to pis down ever way your going to get wet

 

i gotta remove me cooler anyway but its nowhere near me house so i cant be arsed going too far involved

 

just pop the covers off mate 1 screw on each cover
then 2 screws holding in each fog even a job you could do

 

cool if thats the easiest way, what about removing 500 cooler

 

why do you want to take the cooler off for??

 

its not getting full boost and me coolers swollen at the top when they bulge


so as i got a palce at the end of my street who car presure test it i may as well have that looked at whilst im there

think its a fauly amal though, may me a sensor as its started running like the amals unpluged again

car aint going anywhere either till the wheels sorted to may as well whilst its off the road

 

 

You've bulged an RS500 cooler?

 

yeah they to swell at the top, guessing it might be fooked, wanna have it tested just incase

its very comon hence why they strap it in the middle, shame it still bulges inbetween anyway

 

how much boost you running to do that

just take the 2 bolts out of the rad (bolts to the under side of the shassis rails) and drop it down carefully (and you won't need to remove the water hoses if someone helps you)

Then once thats clear, undo the 2 bolts on the 500 cooler (again from underneath) and it will drop down and come out from underneath.

it aint that hard though remember it was 352bhp at one point
