Default Heart fluttering, lack of energy

Has anyone had this?

Im going to go to the docs as its getting worse, i havent told lindsay as i dont want her to worry even tho shes a sister and may have an idea what it is.

Its been happening a while now, the odd flutter but i get it very regular now and when i do it takes my breath away. This has been the only symptom up until recent weeks and i feel so non energetic sometimes. Not so much so that i cant even work as i work hard, but sometimes i jst think ''god im unfit for a 29 yr old'' whcih really in the building trade i cant see as im active all day everyday. So now im worried its linked to the fluttering???

Like i say ill be off to docs soon just wondered if anyone else has had it?

never had what you discribe, but just get yourself down to the doctors sharpish mate. You should never ignore what your body is telling you,and and judging by you posting here....your gut feeling has told you thats its something you shouldn't ignore. Hey you might have tests and they say its tirdness or lack of something...but its best to put your mind at rest, because worrying can do alot of damage as well....you have to think of your family. Good luck mate,i hope its nothing....i recently had a few health issues that scared me,but turned out to be nothing....so i kinda know where you are coming from.

Isnt the heart fluttering palpitation's? nothing to do with being diabetic, although tiredness is linked to that aswell

I have had the same, gotta a few palpitations every now and then with some momentary chest pain but my mum said its nothing to worry about and just my body going through a stage. She's a retired surgeon consultant so she knows what shes on about.

Lets hope for your sake thery havnt found any new diagnosis etc since yer mum retired lol

Could well be physical symtons of anxiety.

Anxiety causes adrenaline to be produced which in turn can give the heart flutter effect. As the adrenaline leaves your system its not uncommon to feel drained.

If its is the above theres tonnes that can be done to help

I get a weird little flutter very rarely, like maybe once in a month or something, and my breathing goes a bit funny but it's just for like a second, no longer.

It happens so briefly tho that I always think nah can't be anything too bad

I'd say stress and a shit diet.

I used to get them, heart goes spastic for a second or so.

Stress has gone, and my diet has improved, therefore feeling better.

Flip2k3 i agree. i get palpitation's pretty much every day but i suffer from panic disorder and agoraphobia. i also feel i have no energy weather i do something or not. i never had anything like before this. also my diet was shit before too which ive been sorting out and exercising

i would say stress and not a great diet or not enough exercise. change ya diet do a bit of regular and try to chill a bit more when ya can

but nothing wrong in getting checked out mate.

Yeah, always better to be checked out to be on the safe side isn't it.

I'd say it was stress almost 100%.

I used to get this quite a bit Lee, over quite a period, mainly while resting. The lack of energy and tiredness is caused by the reduction in blood flow due to the heart's inability to pump properly whilst beating irregularly.
Seriously worried me at the time, and had various tests, ECG traces etc, and found nothing "abnormal" as such.
Advice at the time to alleviate it, was some sort of vigorous exercise - reason being to force the heart into working and getting into a normal rythm again, something like running up and down stairs a couple of times.
In the last couple of years I've had hardly anything, and no apparent ill-effects.

from my shrink its stress thats built up and my way of dealing with it. i used to let it build up and up and up and never let it go and for me so instead of blowing my lid, its me having panic attacks. But cause i tried to crack on for about 2yrs with them and not sorting the causes they got worse and the better of me and last September i lost my job due to them. That was the final bullet and i just couldn't leave my house no more. Not that i didn't want to just didn't want anymore attacks (i fucking hate being at home and that was before the attacks lol) and thats my way of not having them was not to go anywhere. Then i was constantly pissed for 3 months just to get me through the day even though i was sick of drinking but i was not having attacks. But new year new start i started to learn to deal with it better i only have a few beers on a fri or sat night, don't drink at all during the week.

But i'm having Cognitive Behavioral Therapy every 2 weeks, relaxation cds, hypnosis cds, green tea, changing my diet, exercising and thats helping. i'm getting out a bit more. i would like to say i'm coming up to half way of getting sorted. but im just gagging to work again. i worked straight from when i left school after my last exam (10yrs today actually lol). i worked for a good few years 7days a week for 8months a year. Absolutely HATE not working. Ł114 every 2 weeks from the government gets you fuck all when your outgoings are higher than that just on bills/debits from the past. Hence why Asylum Seekers get my back up cause i wanna work but i cant right now and i hate taking money off the government but i have to right now and these fuckwits just walk in and get everything handed to them and more and a place to live

Still worse people with worse things than me, yeah i hate it with a passion but must not grumble... as Arnie said "I'll Be Back"

and if i get a critical error after typing that i'm gonna launch this monitor out the window

It's definitely caffeine related, I have suffered from Arrhythmia for the last 12 years or more.

The classic symptoms of arrhythmia include; palpitations, dizziness, fainting, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Of course, some of these may not occur, even with serious arrhythmias. People may experience palpitations, such as missed beats, "skips," "thumps," "butterflies," "fluttering," or "racing.” The palpitations may come in single or multiple beats and may be felt anywhere from the stomach to the head.
My symptoms are "racing" and is kept under control by drugs. The drugs control it as long as I don't have caffeine related drinks ie: coffee, tea, Red Bull, Coke, or any stimulant like alcohol, as it will exacerbate the situation regardless of the drugs. Usually Arrhythmia is nothing serious, it's the electrical impulses in your heart getting confused, that's all, but definitely go to see your doctor and get checked out.

It is caused by the heart mnissing a few beats.
EVERYONE has it whether they realise or not it is absolutely normal.
It does get worse with smoking and drinking, and lack of CV exercise.
I had test after test but always 120/80 BP, 64 BPM, heart trace perfect etc etc, they just said that's how some people are, this was from a HEART SPECIALIST.
I was getting like a flutter then gasp then like a bubbling sensation, like air bubbles was rising in the chest for 2/3 secs.

I get them too

Started when i moved from Durham to Surrey, went to doc's down here and he said i had done too much all at once ie move away from home, get a new job, moved to new place etc etc

I have my panic attacks under control now, without having to use tablets as well, but i still get this fluttering now and again, which i do put down to stress, even tho i dont feel stressed.

I stopped having caffine i have all de-caff products now tea, coffee etc and feel a lot better for it, just got to get my diet back on track.
