can u get uprated pistons and rods for silver top zetecs?

Default can u get uprated pistons and rods for silver top zetecs?

i want to get some from the usa i know there is a lot for black tops but cant find silver top ones

theyre fine for the silver top as long as you use the black top rods with the black top pistons.

problems arise when you try and mix black top and silvertop parts, as the black top rods are longer than silver top and the pistons are shorter

no most of the zetec engines are black top so the rod and piston companies cater for this market..

i'm using black top rods and pistons in a sliver top block.

no problem m8 eagle steel rods and je pistons part numbers

eagle rods crs5483f3d $330 or cosworth steel rods $499

je pistons 185915 jxc0f4-3346-2 $429

i bought mine from here

www.nolimitmotorsport.com i paid £537 which includes postage and tax/duty

ok comp question if a piston set makes a 16v zetec 9.0:1 what will it be if its a 8v zvh

8:5:1 i had to end up using a de-comp plate but will be doing away with the de-comp with a head gasket from italy which will give me a c/r of 8:2:1
