Default Stardard MK3 Astra GSI, redtop v 150bhp S2 Turbo

As above.

I own the turbo, mate has recently bought the astra. Now, who is gonna spank who?

The 150bhp, is ATW, rolling road proven, the astra is BOG standard, no uprated air filter, exhaust, nothing, standard 16v engine.

Talking straight line, from point to point.

150ATW RST versus a stock astra GSI? youl kill him.

150 at wheels versus 150 at fly.

astras heavier.

you gonna have more torque.

wont be a big problem

i don't think there'd be a lot in it, but you would deffo do him in his astra, and if you've got some suspensin and his is stadard, you'll muller him everytime he tries to go round a corner

The RST by a mile, the torque curve is so much better, maybe not till above about 25/30, unless very good on the launch, but after than NO CONTEST.
Just wait for him to catch up and make him a cup of tea while you are waiting.
Is a escy really lighter than a astra ?, I'd be surprised.

I would say the RST, used to have a GSi Redtop and was pretty poor, now if it was a GTE valver maybe as I did notice a diffrence in weight.

I Remeber taking on a S2 at crail with my GTE valver and won !
