Interesting incident seen today whilst out in my van at work.

Guy gets cut up at a reduced width section of road. The guy that got cut up - it was his right of way - is obviously pissed off. Anyway both cars stop at this reduced width restriction and neither can move (I'm behind th guy that got cut up, and someone else is behind the cutter-upper so both blocked in)

The guy that got cut up leans out his window and verbally chastises the other guy

The other guy gets out of his car (nice looking Bimmer BTW) and begins to approch the cut-up guy

Follow me so far?

So, the guy that got cut up gets out also. Heated words are exchanged.

Then, the Bimmer guy (the "baddie" ) suddenly takes a swing at the "innocent" guy (the one who got cut up). "Innocent" somehow manages to dodge the punch, and knee's the "baddie" in the stomach, and then gives him a good thump as he slouches forward onto his knees in the road.

No more blows are exchanged and the incident ends with the "innocent" guy getting back in his car, mounting a kerb, and manouvering round the Bimer and carrying on his way.

Bimmer guy gets back in his car and fucks off past me....

So there's ya story (sorry for the wording/story telling - had a couple beers )

My question is : should the police catch up with the "innocent guy" - would he be in trouble? From my view, it was self defence as the Bimmer guy took the first swing, but he DID give the Bimmer guy a good beating (albeit just a knee to the stomach and a thump on the head)

Would he a) get in trouble for assualt and/or b) get in trouble for leaving the scene?

The Bimmer guy left also - no idea if it was reported or not mind.... I wasn't getting out for shit - it took place in Tottenham so I wasn't getting involved Neither was anyone else looking on

I recon i would have got out and helped the guy that got cut up' This sort of thing really pisses me off.
Especially as i work in Hackney near Tottenham and put up with this shit on a daily basis.
Man tho's African's and Jew's (No Offence) Cant drive for shit.

 

just a fight mate,,, ive punched a bus driver who tried to move me out of his way by driving into me when i was crossing the road,,,,, fuck all happens as you need a whitness to say shite and some copper who gives a shite

hell ive seen a bloke get carjacked in tottenham hale and people just drove round him ( though i was the only one late for work so couldnt stop


morale of the story is,,,,, if you cant fight shut the fuck up and let the man go

when i was a traffic warden a new bloke i was training was left on his own for the first day, he issued ticket to some city ponce and the city mummys boy went on to give him abuse,, he ignored it and then the bloke grabbed him,,,, he told he to let go and the mummys boy said "or what" and so the bloke punched him in the eye,,,,, fuck me hes cheek bone swollen up

thats when we discovered he was a amature boxer and has been boxing since he was 8 years old

coppers arrested him then the desk sergent let him go after having a good laugh


that thought me that not every quiet nerdy looking bloke is a nerdy looking bloke who cant fight

 

its amazing how the one in the wrong always makes the most noise and gets aggresive first

 

But lets say the cops did cathc up the the "innocent guy" tho - would he get done for abuse and/or leaving "the scene" (tho is it really a scene? There wasn' an accident or anything)

I mean, lets say one of the onlookers called the police, got the info a bit wrong, reported it and gave the peeps reg numbers - I know it's unlikely, but I am genuinely interested in what the legal point/stance would be here!!!!

sunny afternoon, bloke driving in tottenham like a cunt behind the wheel of a bmw wanting to have a fight over a issue hes caused in the first place

It was actually the other way around - the "baddie" in the beemer was white, and the "innocent" guy was black

 

The "innocent driver" has acted in self defence and from you have said he didnt goover the top, he acted reasonably to defend himself.

There appear to be no offences he has committed, only the bloke in the beemer.

ofcourse the innoent guy can get fucked... everyone who is saying he wont is talking boogy....

the same thing hapenend to me n my mate where some big and i mean big man started a road rage with us, in the end of exchanging words he stopped his car infront of ours and kicked the car in, we got out n he hit my mate who was the driver, so we basically kicked his arse.

few weeks later C.I.D. knock on my mates door and nicked him, i told him to give my name (probably shouldn't have coz they might not have been able to proceed with convictions without all involved) they nicked me a week later and we were charged with all sorts. apparently the guy was a big pussy who couldn't take it that he started on kids and lost!

as it happenes all the wittnesses convieniently saw me and my mate "BEATING" this innocent 6.4" large built male for no reason and then DESTROYING his lovely volvo

fact of the matter is there are busy bodies all over the country wanting to stick their nose in an incident in which they know fuck all about

luckily after a one week trial the crown found us not guilty as all SEVEN whitnesses had conflicting stories... the bums, its like they needed some action in their sorry low lives.

my advice to you mate is give the police the full version of events so if this prick in the beemer cant take it and reports the innocent guy then he'll be in the clear as these things can fuck a whole year of your life and have a negative chain reaction on the following years.

I was once with my mum when a car full of lads pulled up next to us with the windows down and we got a strong smell of weed in the car. And she shouted 'Should be ashamed of yourself, you really should'. They wasn't small lads either. One of them told her to fuck off and before you know it she was trying to get out the car to smack his arse. I swear my mother is scared of nothing and feared by jesus. And once when someone stole her parking bay in tescos because she was taking too long she went looking for him.

 

IF it's reported the police will send soem letters

IF the bmw reports it it's still his word against the other guys

IF it's on cctv then things will be as clear as shit

been there, done that, got given the choice of either a caution for criminal damage or 6 points for not being in control of my vehicle (bloke pulled up along side me, jumed onto the bonnet of his car and smacked me through the side window of the bus so i moved out the way of his reach and the bus carried on going when i took my foot of the brake pedal, sorted now) but all because the car that was hit on the other side of the road when the bus just kept going said she heard me telling him i was going to ram his car (she was about 50 yards away when it all happened and it's all on cctv as well) even though the evedence was clear as crystal with his footprints on the bonnet, no space betwen the car and the bus and the brusing on the side of my face, even the copper said it was clear what had happened and then the union fucked me over for it the cunts) so don't think it's as easy as that

then aain, in totenham, he could have knifed the guy for all you know, id you see the "baddie" get up and drive away then?

 

Unless there is EVIDENCE(complaint) or witnesses nothing will happen, police do not try to cause more work for themselves, they are too busy doing nothing most of the time.

my bro in law is a dibble, and the amount of times he goes to incidents like this and cant take it any further is beyond a joke

if the wounded pressed charges, there would need to be a witness that has come forward of their own accord, and is in no way connected to the guy

and just to take the piss a bit more

if the cps dont think they will get a conviction, if there is not 100 % evidence that states exactly what happened, then they wont even book it in



anyway, the innocent can claim self defence, even if he uses excesive force
if he feared for his safety, he can do a lot to incapacitate the attacker

unless its in your own home, but we all know how that goes
