Default beige injectors with standard ECU

Hi, ive just bought my first FRST, it's got beige injectors but im told it's not chiped. it's running a bit lumpy and showing signs of over fueling. could this be the reason or do beige injectors work with a standard ECU??

cheers
dave

Very lucky you havent washed all teh bores of oil and knackered the engine by now to be honest. Whoever did that was stupid and shouldnt be allowed near engines.

Depends totally on teh level of overfuelling. Its a danger with any problem that involves excess fuelling.

Sounds like you need to get some standard blues blue's in there or a chip and hope you've not shafted it. iirc the injectors from th e8v XR2i are the same as standard injectors. Stu will be able to confirm this though as he's a clever chap
