Default miss fire

hi iv got a problem with my xr2i its off a pot but its got spark and i think fuel because it keeps backfiring what do you reckon, cheers mark

If it's got spark and fuel then either one is at the wrong time or you have a burnt/sticky valve.
I would pay very close attention to the dizzy cap first.

its on efi which is dizzy less ignition iv replaced all the ignition side to, i got given the car off an old lady who didnt realise it had a missfire, i found it to be a bad lead, so it looks like it could be engine damage

As you see I know these engine sinside out!!
Might be worth getting injectors cleaned to rule them out ?
