Default fiesta wheels, wot size!!!

hi iv just got myself a totaly standard white 1990 fiesta xr2i, what size wheels can i fit without undergoing any major work, iv always been more of an escort man so not to clued up on fiestas, could you also post some pics to give me some ideas, cheers mark

16s should go on no probs depending on width 17s need abit of work i think

also you dont say how low the car is?

its standard ride height at the min probly drop it 35mm or so when i put some wheels on. i realy like the look of escos rims on them but iv never seen one in white with them,

15's are recommended max size if you want to keep the driveability of it.

Stick 195/45 tyres on and you shouldn't have any issues.

ET35's will fit straight on

i'm thinkin of escos rims for mine too. dont know if there is much arch work involved though. i've got the added bonus of the coil overs

its only an xr2i so im not to bothered about the driveability just a work motor realy anyone got a good pic of a fester on 15" multispokes, also larry large nuts you shud get escos rims they'll look shit hot on yours

I'm sure there's someone on here with RS500 wheels on their RS Turbo. They're 15" multi spokes and they look awesome!!!

whats the lowest and widest you can go on a mk3.5 fez with no side skirts and arches, by any means possible i want to go low with euro style wheels

Best wheels IMO are 15 x 7's on Mk3 fiestas. Running 15's means your handling/geometry isn't effected too much, and your speedo is still accurate. Anything bigger upsets the handling characteristics of the car.

I personally run 15 x 6.5's with 45's tyres and a 40mm drop. With 15x7's and 50 tyres i had major rubbing problems. Now it only rubs very slightly on the inner arch at full lock.

what about 13's would they fit bearing in mind it a 1.8 diesel so no huge brakes lol

lol i was meanin like brakes lo, only had the car bout 2 weeks cos my s2 broke so bought it and not really looked at it since, wantin a cool lookin run about

Stupidly low - no suspension at all

In seriousness though DO NOT CUT SPRINGS!! Buy some cheap lowering springs off ebay or something.

lol im not that daft do you reckon it would best to get coilovers? so i can set it at the height i want rather than buyin a spring kit and hopin for the best? just need cheap coilovers if there is such a thing

Mk3 Fiestas come with 13's fitted as standard so they'll definately fit
