As a person every one always has something to say about him. I cant comment on that. But I do have a lot of respect for some of his creations/projects.

He is one of the best RST tuners in the country bar none.

You hear that about EVERY tuner at some point.
It doesnt matter who gets recommended, EVERY time threads like this appear there are some that praise a tuner and some that slag them.

I have personally used Jamsport for the last 4/5 years and have always got a good service, most of the time with Jamie and lads going along way to sort things

 

The only thing janos good at is fitting cossie management and rebuilding turbos imo he gets most of the other work done by other people

The thing with jano is that even if you have a slight missfire from a bad plug he will say you need cossie management and if your exhaust is blowing he will say you need cossie management

 

Best tuner local to you is Grove Garage where Ahmed is based

Problem is the turn around as they are very busy

 

Janno gets a good slagging now and again but his cars ALWAYS produce the goods without fail in the mags and his own at trackdays etc.

It was not asking what tuner he should take his car to, or who you think is better.

People who have been to Jano or have had work done by him do not have a bad word to say.

Why not speak to his customers first hand and ask if they have any issues!

Ive only ever taken my car to Turbosystems and OddkiddCreations and both for the same reason... these are the only companys which I have spoken to which have attempted to tell me not to buy something which they sell simply because I have no need for it..... these companys look after my needs rather than see me as a revenue source.
The quality of work and level of service I have recieved from both companys is second to none imho and I have never heard a customer complain about either.

Jano has a serious passion for these cars and treats each as if they were his own from my perspective... If he's local my advice would be to go and talk to him as that costs nothing and make up your own mind

 

I never met Jano but seen quite a few of his converted cars.

Does a good job from what I have seen.

Jano has spent vast amounts of effort talking me out of management features which he provides simply because I have no need for them even though he had the prime opportunity to make good money from me... I personally do not believe he sees this as the answer to everything

 

ive notice alot of janos customers have had cars go missing ?

im talking about 4 of his customers have had there cars nicked,, not saying its anything to do with him but makes me worry about his customers ect

this aint imaginary,,,, we know essexrsturbo was a jano boy for a start then theres the bloke in chingford who had his erst nicked after plastering the thing in oddkidd stickers then hes cossie a few weeks later

if yhou got a erst with cossie management you have no reason to reply as thats what he sells to people

he even sold a guy with a 2wd cossie a L8 ecu on the basis there better and will make more power,,,, hes reasons was the 4x4 cossies have a l8 ecu and make 220bhp unlike the 2wd with the l6 that makes 204


he sold cossie management to a guy who OWNS a fucking cossie.. yet he fits L6 ecu's to erst owners

jano is a business man end of story and sells cossie management conversions,,, that what he does

hes cars perform,,, thats cause hes ASKED by mags to turn up,, hes customers are willing to risk there cars for the mag shoots where other peoples customers aint bothered

jano goes to all meets with is anti lag crew poping and banging there cars when being parked up,,, yet ive never seen him rag his car

jano is a nice guy but he talks shite to customers to earn money,, he relies on the stupid young kids who want anti lag fwd escorts just like his yet dont understand the fucking point of it

APT has the BEST erst in the country,, that was built on a BUDGET,, he THOUGHT about hes mods and done them based on if there worth it or not and its the FASTEST in the country

now that and the fact he was the first erst on aftermarket managment when we was all amazed at fitting old shitty secondhand looms and parts to our escorts for cossiemanagment

oh and how could i forget this

i sold my old steel rod'ed 1.6 with omex managment and loom to a mate of mine, he went to jano to ask about getting it fitted and he was told its SHITE and he needs cossie management for it to run right,,, said nobody knows how to map it and it aint that good either compared to cossie managment

my omex was bought of christian who held the top speed for a 1.6 cvh using that management,,,,,, yet its shite,,,, yet jano aint broke 155mph yet ?



he talks shite and his customers dont know fuck all about cars hence they fit cossie management to there 180bhp rst's

with that chain of thought oranoco's car must be one of the BEST erst's about

its on mfi with 5th injector and that engine hes had for 5 years atleast running 25psi,,, he drives like a cunt everywhere but it aint let go yet

that was BUILT by rob as SCC,,, yet nobody has mentioned him yet ?

 

Theres some very nasty people out there although im pretty certain OddkiddCreations have more than 4 customers, most of which are still fortunate enough not to have their cars taken by scum... at the end of the day everyone with a RS knows these cars are at risk and many many times I have witnessed people have posting on these forums regarding a car going missing however few associations are made if these cars are wearing the stickers of another tuner.... If we looked im pretty certain we could find stolen car reports with stickers from most of the tuners around, I would not suggest this has any meaning however.
I personally believe that the reason behind this is due to the fact that Jano gets personally involved in the search for stolen cars, he requests that the information is posted on all forums we are members of and gets as many people as he can in on the search.

mate one of the cars the guy had for a while then went walkies,, then he bought a cossie and that went walkies too,, then theres a mate of mine whos car also went walkies who still uses jano so im not gonna talk about him

these are 3 people who i PERSONALLY have met at some point as i said its not jano whos doing it at all,,, but i have seen his customers and tbh,,, they aint all the normal rs crowd

oh forgot to mention that my car was nicked 2 weeks on a fucking sunday the same day i got a note on the window if i was interested in selling my car

that was nicked with a trailor in broad daylight on the same day as national day

maybe its not related but a oddkid sees my car and asks if i wanna sell it,, then its lifted 2 weeks later and i know EVERY SCALLY WAG round this area and NOBODY knows anything about my car,,, so i KNOW it wasnt done local,,, and considering i live in fucking central london at the time its got me worried but then theres 1 other option it might have been too

 

Hi,

I set about using cosworth management for my restored RS turbo
which i did all the work myself, from body restore inc respray to building the engine, i used jano for advice for the cosworth management as not many companys doing the conversion, now i had spent a lot of time and money on my car, and i have worked and chipped several cossie's,
so i decided i would design my own kit for cosworth management (disc's for crank signal and a disc for the phase sensor signal, etc) so all i needed
was a chip?? and jano supplied a chip for the setup of my engine ie yellow
std injectors cvh std engine and turbo, i caught him out on a lot of technical issue's and it seemed like he was getting info from somewhere else and by the time he had typed it to me he made mistakes, i doubled
checked the setup info to jano and he said definitely the chip was correct,
i have been doing cars for 20+ years and have had several RST, so i had the chip check by a very good known tuner by one name he would be known, he checked the chip and it was for 803,green injectors and the rest of the chip file were very poor(rubbish who wrote the chip) jano couldent even tell me what the ignition if checked timing should be at idle,
who ever wrote the chip should know, i dident get into a slagging match by saying what the tuner said, i just knew from the mistakes i had caught him out with and new from then stay clear, i still have the chip here and his email saying it is definitely correct for my setup?as proof. so pay your money and take your choice so i PAID Ł75, for a copy of a chip which you can burn to a blank chip which cost Ł1, for a chip which could of damaged my engine after all the time and money spent on it,

Recently took my 3 door to Janos.

Had a bad misfiring issue at high revs which he diagnosed for me.

he spent a lot of time on my car and explained everything thoroughly, I asked a lot of questions as he went through various diagnosis processes on my engine and believe you me this bloke knows his stuff.

I went away knowing exactly what was wrong with my car and managed to source the bits i needed off of here to fix it.

Took all the bits back to Jano which he fitted and then set the car up which is now running beautifully!!

all this for a frankly unbelievably good price aswell!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Jano to anyone as he is 100% honest and is bloody excellent at what he does!!

Im just glad i found somewhere like Oddkidds creations who i can trust with my car and who arent too far away!!

 

I had mfi on a rs turbo a few years back and i had a few problems with it
and he said i should get cossie management off him because its the mfi management causing the problem then i took it somewhere else and they fixed it 100% without changing the management
