its the only thing that has never worked.. can be annoying when chilling out and having to strech to get one of the other remotes..

Does anyone know how I can raise the volume on the TV through the volume buton on the Sky remote please

 

Can't remember how but you program it with whatever make of TV you have like you do those universal remote. Google is probably your friend.

I'm sure you can program it off of one of the sky menus. My mate did mine but I can't remember what he had to do. Have a fiddle around and I'm sure you'll sort it

still no joy, well annoying it flashed twice like it says it should with the 981 code..

Try the more general codes.

thinking its a better option as I have 6 remotes

 

it won't do the volume on the hitachi telly
it turns it on and off mind

 

I tried to get my tv volume to work using the sky remote, using the code supplied in the handbook, but no joy either. i think some tv's just wont accept it

 

I assume you have had your remote along time ?
I had the same problem with my new BUSH TV witht he sky remote which was half knackered anyway, bought a new one and this has according to the spec on the box/carton/waraper it came in NEW UPDATED SOFTWARE, well it works anyway.
£15 or so from tescy's.

If you are reading the manual on how to do this turn the page over as it continiues. Took me a few goes and a bit of swearing to notice that.

 

Works with my telly but doesnt help me with volume as volume comes through my 5.1 amp so have to use that remote
