Default Galaxy VIN plate

Were is it located looked in the manual says its under right hand side bonnet hinge

I must be blind cos i can't see one

Any ideas or pics its a 2001

you mite be able to see the one on the screen on passenger side bottom corner

Yes i can but need to find the silver one with all the Trim codes and paint code etc

i'm in the same boat as you mate, my mk3 mondeo doesn't appear to have one either

I am told its just a sticker and not a rivoted plate

I only need to know the trim code

in fact, if memory serves me right, i think it may be hidden in the boot area somewhere, under one of the pieces of trim??

if its just a sticker it will have been pressure washed off by some valeter at some point in its life

Looked every every place i can think of tyre pressure label on inside of fuel flap and nothing on pass B post

Manual says its by bonnet hinge BUT there is not even glue residue to say that it once may have been there

Strange

Its a 2001 ghia 2.3 pet if that helps

MK2 vin plate should definitely be near the near side bonnet hinge. Very strange it isn't there

LOL rang um up for a part they need the trim code off the vin plate even they told me the wrong location
