Definately go for a transit.
First make sure (if second hand), if its a rear wheel driver,
It's had the timing chain recall and that it has, at one time or another, had an auxillary belt tensioner fitted.

If you get one, go easy on the clutch/ set off as flywheels can be quite weak.

If you go tor a front wheel driver, ensure regularly serviced and has regular fuel filter changes, common rail injectors can sometimes give probs.

I think they're great!!

iveco are not worth a light mate, get a transit mine is superb and it does 200+ miles a day no bother and thats alot of stop starting aswell.

The new mercedes are shite, the mk7 transits are bob on mine is a mk6 and is superb as said.

Transits are far more comfortable than any other van imo aswell
