Hi peeps, just wondering where you get new and part worn slicks from?

Fancy some on the Nova this year, iam currently using 195/40 15 road tyres on a 6" wide rim.

Any sugestions?

Hi Rossco i dowt if i will be abe to get anymore 15"slicks as they dont use them anymore they have gone on to 17" now ...i have one set of michelin sport cups(trackday tyres) parts worns 2 have been cut for wets the other 2 are normal they are 205/50-15's road size .......i ask see if they got any from ast yr ........marco

hi brom yea i went to donno but never seen any missed calls , the car is not running at all , stilll wont start ive being trying to get the car down to martins but he is flat out at the min , he did tell me to take it down last saturday but was at donno , if your about pop down see if you can get it started i sort you out it's booked in at karls to be ive mapped but i dont think i make it still got aot of things to do .. just send all the suspesion of to be checked over make sure everything good marco

I reckon 205`s are gonna be a bit wide for the little arches, i have clearence issues with 195`s

no mate no more instock you can buy them new they cost 168+vat each for a full racing slicks 190/570-15 but they need to be on a min of a 7" rim tho for a 6" rim you would need 170/180 -570-15 sicks avon do full track day sicks marco

Are track day slicks suitable/the same as drag racing slicks?

I really want to get some drag radials next but finding it a bit hard to find someone who can supply them?

does anyone know of a website for some road legal slicks ive tried google but not found much.. im after some 215/35/18 not sure if 225s would fit .. only for dry use.

I think the ones Tim uses are drag radials and also road legal. were about 250 a pair..

But that was via Chad so the price may go up or down???
