rst gearbox oil starvation comon fault

well looking on gra,s topic about gearboxes i rememberd back on a topic that was about plumbing and oil feed to the end of the gearbox to solve the problem of starvation to 5th gear ever noticed why the wineing starts in fith? furthest gear down the shaft oil gets their last or not enough of it another problem is actual oil level how many of you check gearbox oil levels? do this and keep it topped ive been told last alot longer obvious to most i know but i never used to tbh i thought well its plugged no leaks must be full lol i had all my boxes apart myself 4 failed on shatterd syncro,s and 4 on 5th gears leading to other damage basically 5th gear drys up burns then breaks up or if syncro,s shatter causeing shards to go everywere fookin everything else if you carry on driving it till it stops lol so this oil feed idea did anybody do it?

ive had this prob too matey not enough oil in box and the ally fork thing for reverse just burnt out an dissappeared jumps out of rev like buggery with 4 paddle clutch lol
TBH I never really had much trouble with boxes ,my friends got a gearbox machine shop so that helped but i went through a bout 3 if i remember right .All had enlarged bearings and a late type case if i remeber right dunno,i shattered the crownwheel 2 times split a lay shaft,IMO Get 1 of bernies boxes there shot peened on the gear set i would imagine see how that goes i bet he alters the oil feeds also ,may have to buy 1 to open and have a look pmsl lol
