Why do you want a T34?

As above, if you just fit a T34 to a 1600 without doing other mods it will be a useless lag monster. Unless you are looking for over 250bhp and have the other modification to accompany the T34, I wouldn't even entertain the idea.

You would be far better off putting on a Stg 4 T3 with a .48 exhaust housing because it is easier, or something GT based.

Yeah I am, sadly...

No modification to the turbo are needed, it just has to have the compressor housing turned around so the water feeds fit the original hoses. You do need a custom made downpipe though. The best bet is to buy a Cosworth front pipe and have that cut and welded on your RST downpipe, or you can get the downpipe custom made.

It's an easy job, so I hear. You just unbolt bits and rotate it around, there is no need for a specialist turbo builder to do it. APT made my downpipe, but a few other places will custom make them for you.
