Started to rebuild my engine 2 weeks back,here are some pictures of it so far.





Head off,1st piston was a bit worn




Head is ok except for the guides,thickness is 138,82



Valves before and after polishing

Also removed the aircon,did'nt work so another 15 kilo's less weight

Now waiting for a set of Wössner forged pistons and engine bearings etc etc....

No Ring for this weekend in the Cossie

Have no feedback of Wössner on Cossies,a mate has them on his Clio turbo,no problems or whatsoever

Was the engine so bad that it needed a rebuild?

What are your futher plans to it? Or just normal rebuild?

Btw. Do you know if MB Car performance has got a rolling road?
