Default EFI Idle problem ( RS TURBO )

ok here goes,, i have my escort rs turbo converted to ofab..
my problem is when i blip the throttle the Revs raises and holds for a few seconds before it idles down again..

i've changed the idle speed control valve. and it still does the same..

i took out the chip and it still does the same..

any1 any ideas?? regards dave

Is the normal idle speed ok ??, from what i remember when i had a fiesta turbo it would hold at 1000 for a few seconds before dropping to 850.

When my idle speed started to play up it was the TPS that needed replacing.

nah it hold higher than 1000, more like 2000rpm.. then drops to about 800

it doesnt seem to adjust when i screw it in or out.. but if i block the pipe that runs from the charge carrier to the iscv it idles fine..

Fit a small K&N Filter to the ISCV and remove the pipe to the inlet completely - block it off or fit a DV there instead.

No more dirty ISCV problems

is it, get the car to running temerature, unplug the ISCV,

then set the base idle? cos i tried this and it does fook all...
