Default Audi 1.9 tdu tuning, FAO Stu mainly

Not going to be doing this for a while, so dont want to waste anyones time, but any gen greatly appreciated!

Im looking at the 1.9tdi quattro B5 chassis and wondering what the limitations of this engine are with a remap alone? power, torque?

Are there any major difference between the 110, 115 and 130bhp engines as a base? turbos for instance?

What kind of results have you seen with this engine? can you leave the original map in place too?

Anything else I need to know, changes to fuel consumption, servicing etc?

Cheers for any help!

Go to Van Aaken developments. They will be able to sort you out nicely.

I have an Audi A6 1.9 TDI 130ps (6 speed box), and have played with a mates Bora 1.9TDI 90ps (5 speed box) which has been chipped, and without the chip in, I whip his ass, put the chip in and I can't quite keep with him on pull away, and his mid-range acceleration slaughters mine.
Do that to a 130ps motor, and you will be needing new seat backs as you get pushed through them on accleration (over-exagerating, but you know what I mean).

I have a PD160 1.9tdi engine. And with a Revo remap, I now have around 190bhp and 330lb/ft of torque. I have the rolling road graph somewhere for it. I didn't go for their generic remap though, as I wanted something that produced decent numbers without being too aggresive (torque kills the clutches pretty quickly)

With Revo as well I have and SPS1 switch so I can switch the map off and return it to standard settings for servicing etc.

If the Van Aaken kit is anything like their fiesta zetec-s turbo conversion ( aka the Jim Gallbally-esque fireball fiesta kit ) then i'd steer well clear
