Default GRP A Coil??

Ive seen these for sale on e-bay and just wondered with them having 2 connections on them for + & - how does this wire up to an escort rs turbo? as the escort just has 2 round plugs that slip on the original coil so is it just a case of cutting and putting 2 male connectors on or 1 for each connection? also what is the real benefits of fitting one?

Recently fitted one to my sapph cos.
Better idle (much) better low down power a lot of difference here and smoother all round.
The only thing you have to do is as you say cut wires and put on spade terminals(6.3mm) which are std size ones.
The pos and neg markings are buried down between the terminals on each side, had me searching for a while for them, there are two of each terminals on each side, but you can make do just using one if you don't want to split the connectors each side as I did.
If I had known the difference it would make for £32 I would have done it as soon as I got the car, best £32 I have spent on it.
I got mine from Matt lewis 01922 692424, £32 delivered.

Ive just ordered one of these as well! So its absolutely fine just using one + and - terminal and leaving the others as they are? How come there designed with two of each terminal anyway?

Have found out from another source that it has 2 so if you fit an aftermarket rev counter or a shift light u can then use the other connection for that.

Thanks for the replies guys especially Tabetha

The reason it has two of each terminal is that it was ORIGINALLY a LANCIA PART, and probably just used a seperate connection for as said rev counter or supressor.
Despite what some say it is a LANCIA part first and foremost in that it was oe kit on these first not specifically designed for cossies.
A lot of the sensors are shared with a lot of the cars that use webcon(weber marelli) management, like the fiat range that uses and almost identical ECM to sierra cos 2wd.
