My R33 GTR Skyline Track Toy/Medical Response Car
Hi all, I bought this car about 9 months ago, been really busy with a newborn baby and running a couple of buissnesses so not used it for 5 months. Starting to "live" again now the nippers a bit older and it's time for me to start enjoying myself again.
It really is an amazing machine, so easy to slide about and the straight 6 is just sooooooooo smooth. It's only done 28 000 miles and is a fairly standard car.I was going to sell it as my wife hates it, hey, she'll hate it even more with no carpet in it!
So, what are my plans for it? Well I competed in Tarmac Rallying for a couple of years which I loved, but I really can't afford to go back to it, even though I'd love to, so this will replace the buzz I used to get, I just want a weekend toy that I can drive to Santa Pod or a Track, have a laugh and drive home, just a "selfish" toy really, just for me! I may enter it into a few sprints aswell, show up a few TVR's!
I'll also hopefully be using it as an Initial Medical Response Car for a buisness I'm hoping to set up (moving on from the Motorsport Rescue Company I'm currently working for part time at the mo)providing Rally/Track/Motorsport Medical and Rescue cover. Hence it'll have strobes in the headlights , blue lights on the dash and you'll be able to see it in the background on Top Gear sometimes.
I've started stripping some bits off it, It's gonna be stripped inside with just 2 carbon buckets, a few other carbon bits, I've also just got a Nismo 400R bumper for it. Engine wise I'm fairly happy with it, just enjoying reliability but the handling and braking need to be sorted. It's got so much wieght to lose of it, should maybe do a late 12 second qtr/mile hopefully too.
Here it is when I first got it

Started stripping the interior

got all this to fit in the boot, and alot of wieght to lose off it too!

new bumper's starting to go on

just bought a Carbon grill so the front's stripped ready to fit that

I should have my Magnesium 10x18 TE37 wheel's soon aswell, painting em black, but they look like this

More pics to come, Can't wait to get it out there and enjoy it.

Looks good, You'd like an R32 I'm just doing for a customer, Rod Bell RB30 motor with a strong usable 650-700hp, stripped and caged but nothing to intrusive, great brakes and suspension so they guy can enjoy the scottish roads!

I never got the TE37's, deal fell through, however, I got these bad boys for Ł410 on ebay! 18x10.5's and running 295's on the rear hopefully! The interior has also been sold so I'm on the lookout for some carbon buckets, and as my company is VAT exempt due to med reasons I'll get em cheap. Love it!

pics so far of the seat mounts, need to weld the plates in but you get the idea. Oh the joys of having side mounted seats! Here's the seats too!

I got these new spec bonnet pins too
