Who you with and how much to you put aside?

I really need to start thinking about putting some money away

I hate life now as i'm looking for a house now and now know i will have no money for having a good time

at the moment im a civil servant so dont pay a penny, but my company is gonig to be made into a "goverment owned" company which will mean i loose my civil pension right

how much spare money can you put into a investment/pension a month? have you used your tax free isa yet?

My work take out Ł237.88 per 4 week, i also pay a extra Ł44 which they also match.

If i had the money, i would buy a extra house and rent it out.
Then when i got to 60+ (if i make it that far) I'd sell it and have the lump sum. or when i croak.. leave it to Josh

the only thing that bothers me about being made redundant the end of this month is the fact i lose a really good pension with the NHS, as im on maternity leave and not going back to work at the minute ill have to start afresh if i rejoin the nhs, i put 6% of my wages in every month and my employer puts 12% in, and i would get a hefty payout if i worked til retirement as ive been paying into it since i was 19
