Default Boost Gauge

Hi everybody...

I need a help..

I connected boost gauge but at idle it shows -20. And also I use the car on the road the gauge only shows 1 psi. Is it my boost? Can dump valve works in this boost?

Thanks for any advice...

I'd investigate this further by trying a different guage. If the car hasn't been setup or tuned for a long time it's possible the actuator has gone soft (very for 1psi). Does the guage definately read boost in psi and not bar?

Don't bother with the dumpvalve from experience they do nothing but cause problems on teh Escort RS Turbo due to the metering head.

Gauge is new.JSV marked.
I connected it to the hose coming from ECU.
Amal Valve's hoses are in correct order.
It reads 2 psi on the road.

Dump Valve and vacuum side of gauge are working after throttle.

New advice?
