Default what cams?

What cams would you guys recomend for approx 450 bhp in a yb,its manly for road use so need a good alround power band got bd10's at the moment but i think they are causing a restriction,thinking of going back to standard.Any advice or suggestions . cheers

that was a serious reply as the guy who's gotta map it for your chosen head spec and turbo, really needs to have some input!

you will need BD14s for that, but again you need the input of your tuner.
you will have to have the pistions pocketed to use 14s up though..

I know of a few yb's running 400-470bhp on Standard cams with good town/motorway driveability but all depends on WHAT you want!

bd14's CAN be used without pistons having pockets

il second that,ive got bd14s on low comp cos racing pistons with no pockets

i have aswell so no pockets needed realy but thats all down to how thick the gasket and head mesurements

BD10,s are fine for this power level....derek burleighs was running over 500bhp on bd10 (lawnmower cams)
