Default XR2 MkII & S2 RS Turbo Gearbox Compatibility?

Hi Chaps

Will an S2 RS Turbo gearbox go straight into my XR2 MKII race car? I want to make use fo the lsd in the Turbo box. I know the gearbox mates to the cvh engine and goes in the MKII shell all ok but what about the driveshafts? Can I just use the original XR2 ones as it would be much easier if I could? Are the splines the same as the ones on the turbo driveshafts?

Also how can I make sure the Turbo gearbox has the lsd fitted without splitting the casing? Is there anyway you can tell just with the gearbox on the bench? I know not all the gearboxes have the lsd fitted so how do i know if the on I have does?

Thanks
Bob

look in the hole,,,, if theres a bar running across its NOT a lsd,,,,, you should be able to look straight though the driveshaft holes with no diagnol bar

also the xr2 mk2 box DOES fit,,,,,,, as my mates fitted 6 of em to his so far
