Default Are there 2 differnt part numbers 4 a bosch 044 fuel pump?

Guys, ive just recieved my Bosch 044 fuel pump but something doesnt look quite right about it, the part number reads 0 580 464 044 but there is no threaded union at the inlet end just a straight pipe for a hose connection? can anyone shed any light on this for me?

they come without the fitting kit m8 so you NOW need to get the fitting kit!

edited to say IF it's a Group A onbe that's used on the Cossie then it should say 0580254044 also!

You may have been shipped a standard cossie one, the proper grp A jobbie has threaded connections both ends (M18x1.5 inlet and M12x1.5 outlet), not a push on inlet as they do on the std cossie pumps, if you asked for a grp A one then send it back!

Features:
1) Cross reference:
a) Bosch: 0 580 464 044
b) OE: 1450 70, 91 538 807, 1450 70, 91 538 807, 77 00 260 678
2) Applications:
a) Citroen: ALPIN A610 3.0 / V6 2.5 01.85-12.95 3L/2.46L
b) Peugeot: 505 06.86-12.93 2.85L
c) Renault:
21 SALOON 02.90-10.92 2L
25(B29_) 10.84-05.90 2.46L
ESPACE 01.91-10.96 2L
3) Pressure: 3bar
4) Shut-off pressure: 6bar
5) Wide open flow: 160L/h
6) Voltage: 12V

These are nowhere the flow rate of a 0580 254 044

The proper one will flow 228 L/h at 5 Bar and have a shut off pressure of 10 Bar

Also beware there are a lot of cheap Chinese made copies on the market now that unscrupilous traders are passing off as the real thing...
