i've got a road angel compact and can't fault it tbh, had it about 2 years and not had a problem. Cos it uses gps it lets you know of accident blackspots and locations of fixxed camera. The idea being the police camera vans will only be operating where theres a accident blackspot.

I'd never trust it 100% though as you never know when theres a traffic car around the next corner so although it has it's uses it's not a replacement for your own common sense.

dotn work on mobile speed cameras,,,,,, its a fucking computer mate,,,, it also cant read tarrot cards either nor let you speak to your grandmother

a computer is there to tell you about things is KNOWS is there,,,,,,, hows he gonna know a camera is gonna be parked on a bridge at 7pm till 730 when the piggy goes for a shite unless the road angel is TELLING them where to go

i paied 400 for mine and tbh,,,,, it aint worth that,,,,, but it HAS saved me a few times when ive acted a cunt

the road angel almost fucking killed me on the M6 toll road when it shouted out " laser laser check speed" when i was doing a little over 70mph,,,,, about double over

the snooper aint had a false alarm and also you can set it to warn youi about cameras on the other side of the road or not wheres the road angel you cant

but the road angels display is the fucking best and thats the infomation you need imo

ain't that right then ginge?

obviously i know they can be cunts and park wherever they like but i understood it if they're parked in a place that isn't a accident blackspot you can talk your way out of a speeding fine?

its point is to warn you of any fixed camera sites or accident blackspots from its database, itll only work on mobile cameras if it picks up radar 'scatter' from a vehicle in front of you.youd have to have the reflexes of superman to stop in time if the mobile camera was pointing at you at the time it detects .it saved me a couple of times when i have been in unfamiliar areas and have been travelling just a tad fast whilst sitting on 9 points but now my license is clean its worth having imo and the gps will show you just how much your speedo is actually out

Yes.

They *alert* you to all the fixed gatso, truvelos etc etc inc blackspots, schools yada yada.

I swapped from a Snooper SR1 (or something or other, was a good one at the time) as it was driving me mad with its false alarms.

That said, the snooper WOULD pick up these sneaky illegally sited mobile cams.

I also use *cough cough* a garage door opener (the best bit if gadetry on th bus ever!!!!) and the road angel together and it seems to work...

A road angel is ok but is only limited to what info is downloaded onto it.
