after breaking down just out side of Portsmouth after the IOW show in quite a spectacular way (smoke and steam everywhere), finally got round to pulling the head off, after fears of cracked heads/pistons etc, it turns out is was just the head gasket, WHAT A RELIEF!

although i have noticed indentations on the head face and from the way the gasket has blown the head might have distorted slightly, but a bit of a skim should sort that out. Should hopefully be back on the road soon, god i have missed her!
