Default YB/pinto bearings?

Do the YB and pinto use the same big end bearings?

As far as im aware, the pinto and cossie both use the same bearings dimensionaly but the cossie uses a superiour finishing material to cope with the extra loads placed upon it.

In fact I know im right regarding them being the same size as I just remember a mate of mine built up a standard cossie bottom end ie crank and block to use with a pinto head and he used pinto shells.

Personaly i'd go for gen Vanderval bearings if rebuilding a cossie lump....GGR stock them in their ebay shop in most sizes.

Stu.
