Anyway to answer your question, I think it is possible on standard managment to get 250bhp, speak to Oranoco on here. His is a REAL 250bhp.

my mates 2.0 zvh is 270 bhp, on Mfi

 

mfi can fuel safely to 18 psi! so if you have an engine and other components capable of producing 250 bhp at 18 psi then yes it will cope

 

250bhp and beyond with additional fuel pump & other bits and bobs

KE Jet's problem is calibration, not quantity. Additional Pumps/bigger pumps are for when u really go big power, but thats the same for Efi.

 

Unsure of the in's & out's Rick. Ive seen 8 injectors being run using KE.

all i know is i asked for more power and alan told me we were goin down this route,it did take 6 hrs on the rollers to get it right mind
and tbh you cant question alan for his knowledge,just look at eauns cossie to see what there capable of,there developement is second to none,they try what most people say cant be done

guy up our way is running a 1.8zvh like my self only diffrence is that i have 5th inj....in top gear at say aprox. 135 mph the car starts hotering as though it isn't getting enough juice....could be down to his chip ...where as i can get my one clean of the clock...

I could make 300hp on KE -im confident - but my fuel economy would be horrendous. I dont like compromises. Hence why i like 300hp and 30mpg

 

hes never stated where that 250 bhp is measured... it could be flywheel figures, if he knows it pushes out that much he must have dyno sheets

 

Mines 256bhp as recorded on a DynoDynamics Ego Buster. Still running 1600cc CVH and 8 valves. It's also still on the original fuelpump. The car does run an ERL 5th injector kit but that's more for peace of mind. Boost is actually lower than it was and it now see's peak power at 22psi

 

Gotta get meself one o them 'sports gearbox and clutch's'.....

Well it is possible, I got 276bhp when mine was on MFi thanks to Karl doing his fuel mod (no 5th injector). And that was the same day that Steve (Oranoco) got around 250 in his RST. Fuel consuption was below 20/mpg even crusing though pmsl
