Is the airbox on a saff and escort cosworth the same?? or different?

Cant seem to find many pics of the 2?

Oh right so is there any gain say if you fitting the saff one?

Also seen on ebay a rs 500 airbox and the guy is saying it has a bigger dia hole for the hose to turbo is this true?

 

The RS500 has bigger hole for the bigger hose, due to the T4 turbo

I doubt the saph airbox fits the Escort...

 

The saph airbox does fit with a lot of modification to the bottom part and you would need a works/Grp-A lid.. as I have one.

The RS500 lid won't fit even if you get the bottom modified as the shape of the slam panel cuts into it on the escort.
