Hi,

what I want to know is what other escorts, xr3i etc... have exactly the same shape standard airbox as the rs turbo ?

reason I ask is that I ordered a rs turbo airbox from a breakers but it appears royal mail may have lost it The car is going to engine advantages on the 24th august but I have to wait 15 more days or something for the airbox to turn up and then I can make a claim................so I may need to get another airbox rather quickly if this one dosen't turn up !!

anyone know ?

think the xr3i one is different cos the intake pipe goes straight to the manifold, where as the rs one goes through the boost pipe at the bottom. could be wrong though thats how i remembered my dads xr3i bay

just like paulp said the xr3i airbox joins onto the inlet manifold where as the rs turbo airbox links up the metering head which is then linked up to the turbo
