Thinking of selling my esc cos next year to fund a first tim buy and wanted to know what people thought it would be worth reallisticly as in to sell not to be over priced and sit on it. Dont get me wrong I dont want to give it away as it owes me over 23k including buying it 18 months ago but I dont wanna price it out of its league. Was purchased from John Taylor in 2005. Its an N reg 1995 Aurallis blue lux with a/c twin, air bag, leather and usual extras. 18" azev A's, Koni shocks and eibach springs, AP Racing 4 pots, Mongoose exhaust right through, t34 charge cooler. In the last 5 thousand miles has had: rebore to 0.5 oversize, standard comp pistons with valve cut outs, cometic tripple layer head gasket, new turbo technics t35, bd 14's and verniers, arp stud and nut kit, new clutch standard, samco boost hoses, omex 600 ecu, 3 bar map sensor and focus rs injectors. Is running 330bhp. Thats about it anyway to give you a rough idea of whats been spent. This isnt a for sale add by the way as I wont be selling to spring at the earliest.

IMO if its in good cond ie body, interior etc looking around 15k
as you know you never get what you put in, also without being rude you have some odd mods there that people may want to change. its worth what you can get tbh but i would expect 15k
IMO mine is worth about 17k as its a IMP blue, AP 6 pots SM4 ecu live map poly bush'd stg3 turbo etc with 71k on the clock....

Depends on mileage, history, condition........... Obviously with lots of mods can put the price down but then again to the right buyer
Adam's is worth about 15k, high mileage, cloth, no locks, bla bla bla

Yeah I know what you mean about mods, probably not everyones cup of tea, but in its favour one of the nicest cossie colours, has leather ac twin air bags etc well in my opinion anyway. 15k is around what I put it at i guess but wasnt sure seeing as there are lots around now under this price. Anyway thanks for the comments.

GITS!!!!!!your right tho goes on milage, mods etc
to be honest i feel if possible to sell bits off return to std then sell you may get more that way!?
suppose i'm kinda lucky i'm not planning on selling mine then
but gotta be honest i'd rather have cloth over leather 100 times over!!!

Leather and cloth is always down to personal preferance. I cant justify buying a car for that amount with out leather and air con, but others say cloth is more comfortable. AJC: yeah its a st converted to large turbo may put it back to standard before I sell as its worth the same modded or unmodded I guess.

tim i had leather in my golf vr6 and have it in my frst too also sat in cossie leather seats too and i have to say std issue leather seats don't feel too nice and IMO don't hold you anything like what a std cloth one does! If a cloth one was retrimmed could be better
but i'm happy wiht them as they are.
think removing bits is a wise idea

post a picture up of Tim, theres not a great amount of cars that flick my switch but yours looks fantastic, 1 of the best colours, looks awesome on the wheels, has very clean leather, exterior is mint, fresh engine & aircon still in place
