Default class 2 illnesses

i've had a look on the DVLA website, but i cant see a mention of this.

I had medically controlled high blood pressure.

does anyone know if this will stop me applying for my class 2 license?

Medical standards
You may be refused a lorry or bus driving licence if you suffer from any of the following:

* liability to epilepsy/seizure
* diabetes requiring insulin (unless you held a licence on 1 April 1991 and the Traffic Commissioner who issued that licence had knowledge of your condition)
* eyesight defects
* heart disorders
* persistent high blood pressure
* a stroke within the past year
* unconscious lapses within the last five years
* any disorder causing vertigo wihin the last year
* severe head injury, with serious continuing after-effects, or major brain surgery
* Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis or other chronic nervous disorders likley to affect the use of the limbs
* mental disorders
* alcohol/drug problems
* serious difficulty in communicating by telephone in an emergency

its all down to the medical with the doctor if he thinks its ok you can if he
thinks its to dangerous you want be to apply for one

Ive spoken to a guy who employs drivers, he seems to think i should be ok, but hey, my doctor's a cunt
