what exactly do you want to know? i have some contacts in jaguar engineering.

they obviously think that they good enough for the airflow for 400hp from about a 4 litre engine, but i think that they could be a lot better. i can't remember if they use a separate cooling circuit or not, which would obviously be an improvement if they don't.

mounting them not in the middle of the vee but in wheelarches or somewhere would help too.

 

mainly how well they cool, even info on the inlet and outlet temps of stock jag XJRs would give some hint of their worth.

My thoughts exactly, both those things will improve the situation a lot.
