Default i think gearbox problem

can anybody help,i'm finding it hard to change gear for example from 1st to 2nd its as if its missing if anybody can understand that ,and once gears have been changed theres a major kick as if theres no oil in gearbox, plus the clutch pedal only has to come out about quarter of an inch before biting point so when at lights your legs ache like mad with having to push pedal all the way to the floor car is mk5 rs2000 conversion was originally 1.4lx any help please
