Finally took my 100E engine to the engine shop today for it's rebuild, I asked the owner to check a mark on the cylinder bore as I thought it was a crack he confirmed it is fooked it's now a heavy paperweight!! The internals are ok bar one piston so it will live again, I have a mint 205 block on a standard bore that will be used it's just more money getting that modified and prepped to suit.
the engine will be back around xmas so the car will run again early next year

just picked my crank up today after getting reground and the prices have shot through the roof....cost me Ł90 just for the grind

 

my engine is being built at Amac engineering in Northallerton they are a competition engine specialist real old school stuff aswell, they rebuilt my dads RS turbo engine last year and it's been perfect since..
