Our Track Project (where do we start)
After National day me and my girlfirend said we would build a track car, for us both to have some fun in on the track.
It has to be cheap and Fast as fook.
We are thinking of a MK2 XR2 with 4x4 cossy running gear and about 300 bhp. Full weld in roll cage and probably a tubular chassis with fibreglass panels.
All those who know me will know if i say i will do it i will !!
So we are on the look out for the following:
1, nice clean MK2 fiesta
2, a totaled 4x4 Saff to salvage parts off
3, a cheap garagefor me to work in.
Whats your opinions on what would be a good track weapon, notihing to exotic or expensive and some thing with decent power and still reliable, ish.
Matt.

Yeah mate house is first (after our holiday and stuff) and hopefully we can get things rolling with a track car.
See how things go with our first house etc, but hopefully we can rent a garage somewhere or something and start from there.
It will probably be a MK2 fiesta which i will strip to a bare shell, cut all the unwanted steel out and replace with some nice strong tube, a weld in roll cage and 4x4 cossy running gear.
You know i'd be more than capable of doing it and doing it well at that.
The only problem would be money what with the house and other things.
Louise is well up for it and would love to help out and have a go at trying her driving skills on the track, will be top fun.

We just want a good fun track car that won't cost much to build or maintain.
