Default My car wont start!

My Escort rs turbo, On a D reg 1986 and mfi managment, refuses to start.

I drove the car around for a few months and was fine.

I Parked the car up saturday night. 2 Days later on monday i got in the car and tryed to start it. All it was doing was cranking over and it sounds like there is no fuel getting to the cylinders?!? I cracked off one of the fuel lines on the metering head and tryed to start it and no fuel was coming through either?

The fuel pump works fine but it doesnt want to start at all?

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLL LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP PPPPPPPP

Anyone?

Push down on the flap on the metering head while a mate turns it over. If it starts your metering head is goosed

If not, get back on here

If your fuel pump is on a switch you need not worry about the relay (although it would be better wired up on the relay)

Have you got a spark?

Does the metering head flap bob up and down when you crank it over?
