What model of camshaft for RS2000 sport-road and circuit with the stock pistons

There are not many available, and to get the most out of them you need an aftermarket ECU. I would fit an aftermarket ECU and get your car mapped first.

 

You can get a kent cam kit priced at around £176 at a bhp gain of up to 18.

A Piper fast road cam kit priced around £204 at a gain of 10bhp

A piper ultimate road cam kit same price as above at a gain of up to 15bhp

Kent Cam is less expensive than Piper Cam, Is it same quality?

Witk my setting I do monting fast road, or I can choose the ultimate road? and if I find a mainfoild (bigger).

 

Change the cam, change the airflow through the head. Unless you adjust your ignition and fuelling it is not really worth the effort.

 

There was a guy selling a different manifold like the one in the picture on your other thread think he wanted £400 for it..

Ive taken the APS(EGR) off mine and ported and polished it. Works pretty well now..

 

airflow on a standard head is excellent at 120.5 cfm at .375 valve lift so extensive head work ain`t really required, maybe a little tart up with a polish and removal of the slight edge in the throat may give ya a few cfm more.
Cams a bit of a norze with this engine. Standard cams give you more lift than 25% of the valve diametre so no benefit is really gonna be made there as regards increasing valve lift.
The kent cam on offer and the piper road cam only give approx 20 degrees more duration give or take a few degrees.
I am going for the piper ultimate road cam on my rebuild, based purely on the fact the inlet duration duration is a good increase. Hopefully this ain`t going to have no or little effect on the idle speed.
