Default ** Cossie Cam Cap studs pulling out.. **

There seems to be a lot of posts lately regarding Cam Cap studs pulling out of cossie heads, and stripping threads..

Is this an inherent problem, or is it due to abuse over the years?

Interested to hear the views/experiences..??

Cheers
Rich

I had 3 pull out whilst torqueing to correct setting!!

Sorted them out, and done the rest up with a spanner and 'feel'

All mine were exhaust side. Maybe its prolonged heat?

I spoke to Stu, and he reckoned that 4 out of 6 heads he saw had had, or needed (cant remember which ) attention of this sort!

Neil.
