yep its time to butcher that bumper.......(joke btw)

If done properly it can still look good, but when u have a huge cooler u will need more air to it... end of...!

If you dont want to cut the bumper, You could hire a midget, strap him to the front while driving and feed him a cold supply of ICE COLD water

He'll then do the deed and cool the intercooler and it wont ruin the car

OR

You could cut it and just get cold air

I'd sooner have a bumper repainted than run high temps....

Think you my ne forced to cut it mate, I have the big grs and its been a major ballache.
Temps shot up rediculously, then intercooler moved somehow, and hit the rear of the fan. The fan then burnt itself out!!
tried using an additive, made bugger all difference. The samco split on the turbo water feed too due to too much pressure when i boiled the water. Then changed the thermostat to a 82 degree item replaced all the samcos and fitted a new pacet club rad fan.
Chucked some water wetter in for good measure too and only used de ionised water lol.
Has only just bought the temps back down to where they were prior, i havent checked temp switch yet, forgot to check that, but it does make a difference mate

I have taken people's advice have i said others havent got a clue i was asking a simple question and people start being sarky if i have to have my bumper cut then i will do so but i'm just going of what people who are in the car tuning buisness have said, turbo systems have said you shouldnt need to cut it collins have said you shouldnt need cut, but if the temps are high then i will modify the bumper simple

But jay theres a difference between SHOULDNT need to and defo not needing to

all im saying is from my experience of owning various cossie's and RS turbos, and from Matts knowledge of working at power engineering, From owning my own fiesta for 6 years, im offering to help here... Nobody is being sarcastic, just trying to get to the bottom of what YOU actually want

More air is better than less..... and thats a fact!
